Many are asking whether they should start an MLM in a down economy. MLM in a down economy is alive and well! Multilevel marketing giant Amway is expecting to report double-digit growth in the Philippines this year and beyond amid growing consumption and high economic growth.
Driving the growth are surging demands for health care, skin care, and home care products.
Amway has more than 60,000 active distributors in the Philippines and this is presently growing at a rate of 27 percent, based on reports of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA).
Six centers support active Amway distributors, with Manila supporting about 60 percent of members. Amway promotes direct selling as a way for Filipinos to participate in its growing economy.
Aside from home care, health care and skin care products, Amway has announced that it is launching coffee and chocolate mixes, a fragrance line, and a new cosmetics line, all addressing growing local demand. If America can’t get it quite right at home, there is always an opportunity to take the American Way to the world! It’s a great time to start an MLM.
